Junior Camp
- Preschool, PreK, & K: Mini Division
- Grades 1 & 2: Intermediate Division
ESF’s Traditional Day Camps provide over 60+ age-appropriate activities, all summer long, for children in rising Preschool – 10th grades. Cherished camp bonds are built summer after summer, rooted in pure fun, shared experiences, personal growth, and community!
Our progressive programming structure includes three Traditional Day Camps with Divisions, specifically designed for specific grade levels. Campers literally “Grow up ESF” by returning each summer to explore new adventures, participate in time-honored traditions, build life-long friendships, and create memories to last a lifetime!
Mini Division is admittedly our most adorable Division of Junior Camp, and we pull out all the stops for a child’s first summer at ESF! Our goal is to ensure a positive and successful first camp experience while developing a life-long love of camp from the very first day.
Our youngest campers enjoy learning, playing, growing and exploring through daily swim instruction, art, science, singing, dancing, and so much more! We have carefully designed a unique program that ensures the perfect blend of nurturing, learning, and fun, with opportunities to discover something new each day.
First and second grade campers are naturally industrious, enthusiastic, inquisitive, and creative. The Intermediate Division of Junior Camp is where making new friends, being on a team, and engaging in dynamic activities is now more important than ever.
Campers enjoy a wide variety of fun-filled activities including swim instruction, sports, arts, science, archery, gaga, and so much more! They also get to select an activity of their choice each day through our Club Program, while enjoying new traditions, and participating in daily, specialized activities.
When campers move up into the Lower Division of Senior Camp, the activities, traditions, and special events grow with them. Fun, award-winning programs include True Life Adventures, recreational swimming, art, sports, team initiatives, archery, gaga, special events, and much more!
In addition to their daily activities, campers choose 2 electives per day, allowing them to spend more time participating in their favorite activities while meeting campers outside of their group that have similar interests.
Surrounded by campers their own age, our Upper Division Senior Campers enjoy special privileges and traditions as the oldest group at camp. Mentoring opportunities, Senior Camp “Late Night,” and electives round out their schedule of award-winning programs.
Activities include True Life Adventures, recreational swimming, art, sports, team initiatives, archery, gaga, electives, leadership development, special events, and much more!
The goal of this robust 4-week long program is to create a bridge between being an ESF camper and a staff member. High-achieving young individuals develop essential skills through leadership
opportunities and hands-on camp experiences while being mentored by ESF’s trained adult staff.
Participants engage in professional development, workshops, and various opportunities to explore camp life including shadowing in camp groups throughout the summer. We transition campers into counselors creating independent young leaders who can contribute positively to camp and their community.
