Swimming is one of the most exciting parts of the camp day. Under the guidance and watchful eye of our American Red Cross-certified lifeguards and instructors, campers develop life skills too valuable to measure while learning how to swim confidently in a safe and fun environment.
Over 60+ activities, special events and inspiring time-honored traditions are woven into the fabric of our camp life. From sports, arts, science, engineering and technology to life skills and leadership, ESF makes sure that our programs are innovative and impactful, summer after summer.
The fun and learning continue with ESF’s Club OT extended day program. Campers are divided into groups by age and enjoy specialized activities including sports, games, crafts, book club, drama, and more. Afternoon snacks and refreshments are provided.
Hello, my name is Brianne Lanphear and I am the Site Director for ESF at The Academy of the Holy Cross. Summer 2025 will mark my 5th summer with ESF! I grew up in Germantown, MD, and taught in Montgomery County Public Schools for 9 years as a Special Education Paraprofessional. I began working for ESF in the summer of 2019 as the Junior Quest Activity Specialist and received the Master Teacher Award, which was such an honor to see my teaching so much appreciated.
