Celebrating 31 years in the Baltimore community! Since 1994, our camp home has been located on the 68-acre campus of Gilman School in Baltimore, MD. The campus features state-of-the-art, indoor and outdoor facilities and provides the perfect setting for our camps. The extensive indoor and outdoor facilities allow us to offer our unique blend of activities, sports, and special events throughout the summer, rain or shine. The pristine campus of Gilman School is transformed into the ultimate summer playground! Safe and fun environments, with state-of-the-art facilities create fun-filled camp experiences, and the perfect setting to LEARN and GROW all summer long.
Swimming is one of the most exciting parts of the camp day. Under the guidance and watchful eye of our American Red Cross-certified lifeguards and instructors, campers develop life skills too valuable to measure while learning how to swim confidently in a safe and fun environment.
Over 60+ activities, special events and inspiring time-honored traditions are woven into the fabric of our camp life. From sports, arts, science, engineering and technology to life skills and leadership, ESF makes sure that our programs are innovative and impactful, summer after summer.
The fun and learning continue with ESF’s Club OT extended day program. Campers are divided into groups by age and enjoy specialized activities including sports, games, crafts, book club, drama, and more. Afternoon snacks and refreshments are provided.
Hello! My name is Sydney Littmann and I am the Site Director for ESF at Gilman School. Summer 2025 will mark my 9th summer with ESF! I started my tenure as an administrative specialist in the camp office, followed by several summers as the assistant site director. During the school year, I work as a high school world language teacher, teaching Spanish and French for Howard County Public Schools. I also teach competitive color guard with my school’s marching band. I love reading, crafting, playing board games, and hanging out with my dog, Josie.
