A very special group of campers, our ESF Legends, closed out a milestone camp season, marking their 10th with ESF.  

Reflecting on another summer of ESF MaxJoy moments, we are especially grateful to have shared 10 summers together learning and growing along the way.  

The journey to ESF Legend status is an adventure. For many, it begins as a Junior Camper with a small backpack and the whole summer ahead of them. Ten years later, they’re the ones setting the tone every day as a Senior Camper. They’re the campers who welcome the new kids at lunch. The ones who cheer the loudest for a teammate. The ones younger campers look up to, whether they realize it or not. 

That transformation doesn’t happen by accident. It’s built one summer at a time through everything we do. Focusing on core character building traits like Effort, Respect, and Positivity, these seasoned campers embody everything the ESF experience stands for. 

As is tradition, we recognized our ESF Legends at the end-of-summer Family Fling, surrounded by families, friends, and fellow campers. Each Legend was called forward and presented with the official “ESF Legend” jacket, a piece of camp history you can only earn by living it.
