Meet Our Camp Director: Brianne Lanphear

02.26.2024

Brianne-LanphearHello, my name is Brianne Lanphear and I am the Site Director for ESF at The Academy of the Holy Cross. Summer 2024 will mark my 4th summer with ESF! I grew up in Germantown, MD, and taught in Montgomery County Public Schools for 9 years as a Special Education Paraprofessional. I began working for ESF in the summer of 2019 as the Junior Quest Activity Specialist and received the Master Teacher Award, which was such an honor to see my teaching so much appreciated. In summer 2021, I went on to serve as the Assistant Day Camp Director and then Day Camp Director in 2022, both at our location at The Academy of the Holy Cross in Kensington. Summer 2024 will be my first year as the Site Director and I am over-the-moon excited!

Outside of camp I am engaged to my wonderful fiancé Patrick who is a K9 Officer for the US State Department. We are planning a wedding for 2025! I also have, yes, 3 dogs at home: Sgt. Vano and Sgt. Dakota (Patrick’s retired and current K9 partners) who are Belgian Malinois, and Lucy our unemployed Coonhound. I am a big fan of Star Wars, Disney movies, and dad jokes!
