This year’s Family Fling was a success! Campers and their families arrived at the William Allen Middle School ready for a night filled with good snacks and dancing with their friends and counselors.

The night began with the art exhibit. Guests walked in to the building to find tons of creative creations! Campers gushed with pride as they pointed out their own projects. Everyone then moved into the gymnasium, where campers played games with their counselors until the music started. That is when the real party began! Campers pulled their parents into the commotion of the dance floor and grooved to the “Cha-Cha Slide,” “Cupid Shuffle,” and our favorite, “YMCA!”

Michael Rouse, Co-Founder of ESF Camps, began the formal part of the night by announcing the incredible ESF staff! They talked about the Virtues and then helped to announce one of camp’s Legends, who is a camper who has been at camp for 10 years!

Campers could not WAIT to see the camp slideshow at the end of the night! Each year, we try to include every camper at least once to show parents how much fun we are having at camp. There was a lot of cheering and laughing as campers saw themselves and their friends on the screen.

Thank you for making Family Fling so special this year! Even though we spent the night celebrating how much fun we had this summer, we are so glad that summer is not over just yet.
