At ESF, one of our core values is to “Celebrate Success.” To us, that means catching people doing great things and letting them know about it. Throughout the Camp season, Team members consistently celebrate the successes of their peers, but there is one special day in the Fall, where Leaders and Team members from all of the ESF Site locations reunite to honor everyone’s efforts and achievements.  It is at this “Celebration of Summer Brunch”, that we recognize specific Team members who have consistently gone above and beyond to ensure incredible experiences for our campers, all summer-long. 

Below are the various awards and accolades that are given to Team members each year.

1. Milestone Awards: Given to Team Members who eclipsed a specific number of years working for ESF.
2. The Mark Solomon “Make a Difference” Award: Recognizing one Team member who has made a significant and lasting impact in his/her community.
3. The Ichiban Award: Recognizing a Team member from each ESF Site for consistently excelling and going above and beyond in many areas including camper and parent satisfaction, teamwork, leadership, and spirit.
4. The Master Teacher Award: Recognizing an Activity Specialist, Instructional Specialist, Academy Specialist, or Division Specialist for each ESF Site for their exceptional teaching style and ability.
5. The Lucille Santo Award: Recognizing a full-time ESF Executive team member who is doing amazing work behind the scenes at HQ and goes above and beyond to support the mission and intent of the organization.
6. The Jim Loehr Character Award: One of the highest achievements, bestowed annually to the Team member who best represents ESF through extraordinary character and positive contributions to their camp community, while inspiring others to higher levels of achievement as well. 

All of us at ESF take immense pride in working alongside such amazing individuals. We were so excited to honor all of the award winners who make ESF Camps everything it is & more. You help us strive to be our best, and to make every summer truly unforgettable. This event was awe-inspiring for everyone who attended and we are already looking forward to doing it again next year!
