Hello! My name is Lafay Johnson and I am the Site Director for ESF at Friends Select School.
Summer 2025 will mark my 4th summer with ESF! I started my tenure as an Assistant Senior Camp Director and have worked in almost every role while at ESF Camps. I’ve been awarded over 10 Bravo Zulu Awards for excellence in my various roles by teammates and will soon be a graduate of ESF’s Leadership Boot Camp.
During the year, I serve as the full-time Program Director for the ESF Dream Camp Foundation, where I aid in providing after-school programming and academic workshops that focus on homework and literacy support to scholars from historically under-resourced areas in the Philly region.
