Michael Falter

Hi, my name is Michael Falter, and I am the Co-Site Director for ESF at Chapin School Princeton. I have been fortunate enough to work at ESF for the past 26 summers. Over the years I’ve held positions such as a Sports Lab Coach, Sports Lab Director, Aquatics Director, and Assistant Site Director. During the school year I love working with elementary aged students as a 5th grade math and science teacher in the East Windsor Regional School District. In addition to teaching and working at ESF, I have coached volleyball at Pennsbury High School, Princeton Volleyball Club, and Holy Family University over the course of the last 24 years.

What do you love about working with ESF?

I love ESF because of the daily adventures, new friendships, and memorable experiences that create lasting memories.

What is your favorite camp tradition?

World League! Getting the opportunity to take the SportsLab Campers to other ESF sites and witness the hard work, dedication, and sportsmanship displayed by all campers and ESf Team members.

What is an ESF fun fact about you?

My first year working at Lawrenceville ESF, our Sports Camp won World Leagues. As a result, we got to travel to Veterans Stadium in Philadelphia and play games for the day on the field.

What is the most interesting job you have had outside of ESF?

I have been fortunate enough to work the same jobs for over the last two decades but I would say working at TopGolf has been a fun and unique experience.

What is your favorite quote?

“Never say never, because limits, like fears, are often just an illusion.”

What is one of your guilty pleasures?

French Fries…anyway you want to make them!!

If you could be a superhero, who would it be?

Spiderman!
