The NEW SportsLab is ESF Sports Camp re-imagined! With a multi-sport focus, you will enjoy skills contests, gameplay, and a variety of fun events each week. The novice and experienced athlete will be exposed to a dynamic combination of sports and character with instruction by top-notch coaches, geared to individual skill levels. 

Campers will play core sports such as basketball, soccer, baseball, flag football, and lacrosse, with choices to try European team handball, floor/street hockey, and daily swimming.

New Show! ESF Summer Stage: Theater and Performing Arts

July 22-26 & July 29 – August 2: Rising Grades 3-7
Note: This is a 2-week program
Explore the world of theater and performing arts! Open auditions start day one at the ESF Casting Call. Whether singer, dancer, or actor, showcase your unique talents and be cast in the role of your dreams. Discover the many facets of being on a theatrical team while exploring all aspects of dramatic and musical theater in preparation for a Theatrical Production on the last day. Family and friends are invited to attend this premier event.

New Theme! Master Vetri Chef Academy: Hearty Harvest – Farm to Table
*Offered in collaboration with Vetri Community Partnership

July 29 – August 2: Rising Grades 6-8
Spend a week of your summer learning how to master the sweet, aromatic and warm recipes for Fall!  Working with ingredients that are grown in the Pennsylvania and New Jersey regions, campers discover the cozy flavors and sweet tastes of autumn! Under the guidance of a Vetri Community Partnership educator, campers produce a variety of delicious and hearty recipes each day while getting plenty of practice mastering knife skills, kitchen safety, various cooking techniques and team collaboration.  With an emphasis on the creative use of fall-focused spices and the fusion of seasonal flavors, featured ingredients will include pears, apples, corn, sweet potatoes, figs and more.

Intro to Mixed Media: Photography & Filmmaking

2 one-week sessions offered. Try one or try them both!
June 24-28, August 5-9: Rising Grades 4-6
Have you ever dreamed about becoming a famous YouTuber? Do you have aspirations of being a world-renowned photographer or filmmaker? In this hands-on program, campers learn the fundamental skills of videography, visual storytelling, photography, and photo editing. Imagination and creativity come to life as they photograph elements of camp life and collaborate with their team to create short-form multimedia projects. No experience necessary.

Engineering & Robotics

2 one-week sessions offered. Try one or try them both!
July 8 – 12, July 29- August 2: Rising Grades 4-6
In this tech adventure, campers work on robotics projects while refining their engineering and programming skills. After entering the fantastic world of Lego® Mindstorms and collaborating with their team, they plan, construct, program and test fully functioning, sophisticated robots that complete simple to complex tasks. Take the Challenge!

Advanced Mixed Media: Photography & Filmmaking

August 5-9: Rising Grades 6-8
Creativity, technology and design converge in this exciting hands-on program! Campers bring their digital media skills to the next level and explore their passion for the arts using advanced, professional-grade equipment. Through an in-depth exploration of videography, visual storytelling and photography, campers capture elements of camp life and collaborate with their team to create short-form multimedia projects.

Indie Game Developer in Roblox®

August 12-16: Rising Grades 6-8
Learn what it takes to produce a real video game in this introduction to programming and game design. Using the massively popular Roblox® gaming platform, campers use drag-and-drop tools, the LUA programming language, and a healthy dose of creativity to develop real, functioning games. At the end of this course, campers will release their games on the Roblox® website, allowing their friends to download and play their creations.
