Meet Our Camp Director: Wendy Lingle

Wendy Lingle

Hi, my name is Wendy Lingle and I am the General Manager and Site Director for ESF at The Episcopal Academy. I grew up in southern New Jersey and have always been involved in working with children. I spent three summers as a counselor at the local summer camp in my school district, worked in retail at an educational toy company, taught preschool and worked as the director of a NAEYC accredited preschool for over 11 years. I began working for ESF in the spring of 2014 as the General Manager of ESF Camps and The Center for Growth and Innovation at The Episcopal Academy. In the fall of 2014, we added the school’s afterschool and enrichment programs which I direct and oversee on a daily basis. I graduated from Rowan University with a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education and a minor in Psychology. Outside of my education and camp careers, I have worked with children in many different capacities. I have been a Girl Scout leader, Sunday school teacher and an adult advisor for a church youth group. I have two amazing children who have come to camp for the past five summers and are excited for the upcoming summer of 2019!
