Our unique, action-packed program promotes the development of athletic skills, sportsmanship,
leadership, teamwork, and self-confidence. Each camper receives specialized instruction
in our featured sports and has the opportunity to receive more advanced instruction,
on an individual basis, in the sport(s) of his/her choice. Our daily schedule of non-stop
fun also includes top-notch instruction, league games, tournaments, skills contests,
and swimming. Our experienced coaching staff continually offers a helping hand to
give campers the confidence needed to enjoy and succeed in all sports. Campers also
receive instruction through a series of special guest appearances by top college coaches,
high school coaches, and other great special guests in the field of sports & fitness.

Instruction
Specialized instruction, on an individual and group basis, takes place each day.
All instruction coincides with the appropriate age and skill level of each camper
and progresses accordingly with the camper's athletic development. Instruction and
demonstrations on proper technique, as well as team and individual game strategies,
help to improve each camper's skills, ability level, and understanding of each sport.
Each week, different areas of instruction are covered in every featured sport. At
all skill levels, our coaching centers on sportsmanship, teamwork, dedication, leadership,
effort, and improvement. Although part of our day consists of team competition, we
believe that the most important reason for our campers to play sports is to have fun,
to develop fundamental skills, and to build self-confidence.

Tournaments & Special Events
Throughout the summer, campers take part in a series of NEW Tournaments and Special
Events which include: Stanley Cup Day, Super Bowl Day, World Series Day, World Cup
Day, Final Four Day, and Red & Blue Day.
Awards Ceremony
Each exhilarating week of Sports Camp culminates with a special Awards Ceremony to
recognize campers who have displayed outstanding sportsmanship, leadership, and dedication.

Equipment
The only equipment campers need to bring to camp is a baseball glove. Campers will
be given notification of when to bring their gloves prior to the day baseball is featured.
ESF provides equipment for all of the other featured sports.
Choice Period
In addition to the daily featured sports, campers also have the opportunity to participate
in a sport of their choice each day. During Choice Period, campers have the option
to swim or to receive further instruction in game play by participating in an additional
sport.

Advanced Level Training Program
All campers enrolled in Sports Camp, between the ages of 11-14, are introduced
to a higher level of athletic training. Our goal is to take athletes, who participate
in school athletic teams and/or recreational leagues, to a higher level of athletic
ability, peak their physical conditioning and mental alertness, and increase
their knowledge of the game. As a part of their schedule, our oldest sports
campers can also participate in an optional clinic focusing on a specific sport
of their choice. This optional clinic (A.L.T.) offers specialized instruction
in the areas of soccer, football, baseball, lacrosse, and basketball. The cornerstone
of the A.L.T program is the development of leadership, teamwork, sportsmanship,
and self-confidence with an emphasis on fun, regardless of ability or skill
level.
