Swimming
Jump right in!
Plunge into our daily recreational swim program under the guidance and supervision
of our Red Cross and YMCA certified lifeguards. We also offer an optional instructional
program that includes training in basic water safety skills and stroke development.
Our aquatic staff will design a program, specifically for you, that is compatible
with your individual needs and ability level. Once you have completed our standard
swim levels, you will advance into our most challenging levels. Please notify the
camp in advance if you would like swimming instruction by marking the appropriate
box on the application. Instructional swim can be scheduled two times per week. There
is no extra charge for this option.

Our sports program provides you with a unique blend of instruction, game play, and fun while building self-confidence, encouraging teamwork, and developing athletic skills! Our energizing line-up of sports includes soccer, street hockey, basketball, baseball, lacrosse, flag football, tennis, and Ultimate Frisbee. Action-packed, athletic tournaments highlight each week. Tournaments for 2008 include: ESF Hoop-It-Up, Stanley Cup, World Cup, Pebble Beach, Track & Field, NFL Combine, Ultimate Frisbee, and Team Handball.

ArtS and Crafts
Creativity comes to life!
Campers explore various craft techniques and dabble in a wide variety of artistic media in our two exciting programs.
Our NEW “Make-it, Take-it” Crafts Program features hands-on, keepsake craft projects including tie dye t-shirts, clay projects, jewelry making, scrapbooking, mask making, dough magnets, bookmarkers, mosaic tiles, friendship bracelets, dream catchers, picture frames, decoupage, papier-mâché and more.
Our “Meet the Artist” Classic Art Program introduces campers to the artistic style of a different artist each week. Projects include watercolor, abstract painting, stained glass windows, foil painting, collage, pop up art, origami, pointillism, crayon crackle, self portraits, flip books, and more.
The NEW featured artists for 2008 include Eric Carle, Robert Sabuda, Leo Lionni, Ed Emberley, Marcus Pfister, Jackson Pollock, Rocio Heredia, Marc Chagall and Vincent Van Gogh. |

Eco-Venture
Through NEW hands-on activities, experiments, and special projects, Eco-Venture will
expose you to the world of science and nature. Each week a different scientific topic
will be explored.
Choice Period
You will have the opportunity to participate in activities of your choice each week
by selecting from an assortment of exciting programs.
Senior Quest
This program is uniquely designed to give you the opportunity to learn more about group dynamics, gain valuable communication and problem solving skills, and develop a better understanding of leadership fundamentals. High-energy challenges, team initiatives, and NEW community service projects, combined with the spirit of teamwork, will keep the fun at an all-time high!

Archery
Campers will learn the finer points of the bow and arrow,
as they shoot for success in out instructional Archery Program.
Safety is our first priority as campers lean basic skills
of this ancient sport under the watchful eye of our archery
instructor. Campers will also participate in NEW and exciting
skill contests and tournaments. (please see our brochure

Fencing
Under the expert guidance and direction of an experienced instructor, campers will
learn the history, skills, strategies and safety techniques of this exciting medieval
sport. Instruction stresses fundamental positions, footwork, attacks, and defense.
Our goal is to develop each campers level of proficiency, thus enabling them
to participate in skill contests, drills and a final exhibition of fencing finesse.

Martial Arts
Our Martial Arts Program introduces campers to the fundamentals of movement, agility,
form, balance, coordination and self-defense under the guidance of a professional
instructor.

Senior Camp Sleepover
Get psyched Senior Camp night owls! This one-time, traditional
event for the oldest Senior Camp group takes place once a
summer!
Extreme Games
The thrilling nature of teamwork, sportsmanship, and competition come together as
you participate in the Annual ESF Extreme Games, a fun-filled day of spirited games,
challenging events, and athletic tournaments!

Leadership Training Program
ESF is proud to offer a Leadership Training Program specifically designed for our 14 & 15-year-old campers. This program provides opportunities for our campers to develop their individual leadership styles, build self-confidence, improve verbal communication, and develop critical interpersonal skills. Through group discussions, role playing, mentoring opportunities, community service projects, career education, and more, we aim to be an integral and positive force in each camper's journey through the teenage years.
