Venturing into Forensics (CSI) Recently Added!

Have you ever wondered how a forensic expert solves a crime? Venture into forensics by exploring forensic technology and criminal justice practices. Go behind the scenes of a real crime lab and meet a professional forensic scientist who will teach you finger printing techniques, forensic photography and more. Dig up world famous mysteries from the past and learn how solving crimes has changed with technological advances.  With your crime scene kit in hand, you and your team are called upon to be resourceful problem solvers as you analyze a sophisticated crime scene. Your ultimate goal is to present your evidence at an inquest where professional Crime Scene Investigators judge your conclusions.


Masters of Design I (Entrepreneurship)

Have you ever thought of an awesome invention that would make life easier for yourself or others? Meet professionals who do just that for a living! Embark on a design adventure and solve action packed challenges.  Develop your understanding of the design process by identifying a need, examining all points of view, and creating, testing and refining your prototypes. Hone your problem solving, decision-making and leadership skills.  Your ultimate goal is to take your team's design solution from idea to reality and present it to the industry representatives.


Animal Advocates (Turning a Passion into Good) – The Haverford School/Moorestown Friends School ONLY

From best friends to lifesavers, animals give of themselves to humans every day.  In return we have a responsibility to take care of them. Explore the relationship between animals and humans and meet professionals – veterinarians, trainers and animal behaviorists – who put animal care into practice. Learn the basics of animal first aid, taught by a certified instructor.  Witness police dogs in action, observe therapy and service animals at work, and investigate animal welfare organizations and animal protection laws. Your ultimate goal is to organize a conference and share with your audience of experts an initiative that improves our society by promoting the magical power of animals in our lives. 


Eco-Stewards (Planet Protectors) – Chestnut Hill College/The Lawrenceville School ONLY

If you love being outdoors, learn best through exploration and enjoy getting dirty, this is the summer experience for you. While studying wetlands and animal habitats, you and your team learn the fundamentals of environmentalism and develop a project that will have a positive impact on the planet. Conduct original experiments in the field, work in an authentic environmental lab and maintain data in field journals. Your ultimate goal is to present your team’s solution for a greener planet to a local non-profit organization.
