HOW IT WORKS

Campers are fully immersed in an area of their interest (their Major) where they pose original questions, craft thoughtful answers and build understanding – not only from experts in their chosen field, but more importantly from each other. Campers take field trips to enhance their understanding of their Major.  Campers ultimately combine their experiences and findings into a final presentation to professionals in their community. In addition, campers select three Minors (one per week) from a wide range of subject areas, participate in daily team challenges and enjoy lots of outdoor games and activities.

Stay connected Year-Round

The fun doesn't end here.  Campers stay connected year-round to a community of creative learners through a secure portal where they blog and store store summer work.  A winter forum will provide a venue for creative challenges and social opportunities.

“The future belongs to a very different kind of person with a very different kind of mind – creators and empathizers, pattern recognizers, and meaning makers. These people – artists, inventors, designers, storytellers, caregivers, consolers, big picture thinkers – will now reap society’s richest rewards and share its greatest joys.”

- Daniel H. Pink “A Whole New Mind”
