Traditions - Milestone Awards

To honor a camper's commitment to ESF, we have created the Camper Milestone Awards, which celebrate two, four, six, eight and ten summers with ESF.

The Pales Award
ESF campers are awarded this Milestone keychain after the completion of two summers for their outstanding effort, participation in various camp activities, and friendship toward their fellow campers and our camp staff. This award was created in honor of Kathleen Pales, S.S.J., Lower School Principal of Norwood-Fontbonne Academy, who has been a dedicated educator, leader, and friend of ESF Summer Camps for many years.

The Craig Award
ESF campers are awarded this Milestone keychain after the completion of four summers for their outstanding effort, participation in various camp activities, and friendship toward their fellow campers and our camp staff. This award was created in honor of Alan Craig, former Headmaster of Moorestown Friends School, who has been a dedicated educator, leader, and friend of ESF Summer Camps for many years.

The Bristow Award
ESF campers are awarded this pin after the completion of six summers for their outstanding effort, participation in various camp activities, and friendship toward their fellow campers and our camp staff. This award was created in honor of Sherman Bristow, former Athletic Director of Gilman School, who has been a dedicated educator, leader, and friend of ESF Summer Camps for many years.

The Crawford Award
ESF campers are awarded this pin after the completion of eight summers for outstanding effort, participation in various camp activities, and friendship toward their fellow campers and our camp staff.
