Daily Activities - Swimming
Campers plunge into ESF's daily instructional swim program, learning basic swim techniques and water safety skills under the supervision and guidance of our Red Cross and YMCA certified lifeguards and instructors. Our low camper to instructor ratio ensures that ev
ery child receives individual attention and quality instruction. On each camper's first day, our aquatic staff evaluates your child's swimming skills, ensuring proper placement at the appropriate level. Throughout the summer, campers receive individualized instruction and develop at their own pace while advancing through our progressive skill levels. Levels range from the basic beginner to the advanced, and challenge even the most experienced swimmers. Parents receive progress reports which track their child's achievement and mastered skills. Campers receive achievement awards as they complete each skill level.

Swim Level Ribbons
Swim level ribbons are awarded to individual campers who demonstrate the required skills necessary to pass each swim level. Swim levels and associated ribbons include:
|
Pre-Swimmer Levels Level A: Seahorse - Water adjustment
