The Founders In 1982, at the age of 15 and 11, brothers Michael and Bill Rouse organized a two-week tennis camp. That pioneering endeavor evolved into ESF Summer Camps, the country's premier day camp organization. Since then, ESF has had a profound impact on thousands of children and Michael and Bill have led the charge. |

| Our Year Round Team Today, ESF boasts a diversified full-time Team consisting of educators, child advocates, a nurse, a social worker and a former Head of School who work year-round to build exciting adventures for children of all ages. Everyone wears several hats throughout the year which include working on site at camp each summer. We are committed to quality and excellence in everything that we do and we strive to continually meet the needs and expectations of our campers and their families. We're a vibrant group of highly-qualified specialists who are expertly trained and committed to one goal: creating the perfect summer camp experience. We work to constantly raise the bar and to provide quality service to our campers and their families. Together, we keep the ESF dream alive and deliver unlimited adventure and excitement to children of all ages. |

Our Summer Camp Team Our campers learn from the best! Our counselors are experienced teachers, graduate students and college students pursuing degrees in Early Childhood, Elementary, Secondary and Physical Education, Child Psychology and other fields of study. Seasoned teachers serve as instructors for each of our activities and our aquatics staff consists of experienced Red Cross and YMCA-certified lifeguards and instructors. Our staff encourages campers to try new experiences and to reach their highest potential through an exciting, safe and supportive environment. Through our limited enrollment and a low camper-to-staff ratio, campers consistently receive the individual attention they deserve. |
